LRNI Officers and Staff
Louis H. Thompson - President and CEO
Louis H. Thompson, founder, President
and CEO of LRNI. Beginning early in 2002 Mr. Thompson has passionately worked with Active RFID technologies and has patent pending antenna technology that accomplishes consistent reads in close proximity. Mr. Thompson has been instrumental in the development of solutions in the healthcare industry, manufacturing industry and law-enforcement.
Mr. Thompson has twenty-four years in
management, all physical logistic functions associated with heavy equipment operation, manufacturing and transportation. During this period, Mr. Thompson was a wood fuel energy resources consultant and dealer for nine pulp and paper entities in the southeast.
Mr. Thompson graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and has an Associate Degree in Electronics.
Les Thompson - Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Thompson has been a member of the LRNI team since January 2004. Since that time, he has dedicated his efforts
towards the simplification of RFID in implementation and understanding. LRNI's software products reflect this idea of
simplification in new software tools used to easily design and deploy RFID installs; as well as, in the "RfIP" framework and
Monarch web application which harness the power of LRNI's RfIP Device and patented antenna technology. Mr. Thompson is
also a coauthor of RFID Applied.
Thomas C. Meredith - Vice President
Mr. Meredith is an Engineer by education
and a Businessman by avocation. Tom was employed by Oxford Industries,
Inc. a Fortune 500 Atlanta Georgia Apparel company as V.P. of
Manufacturing. He is an Auburn University graduate in Industrial
Engineering (BSIE) and has managed apparel plants and contractors in the
United States and Central America. With the movement of apparel
manufacturing to the Far East Tom left Oxford to pursue other interests
and opportunities.
Tom has managed a
large wire drawing manufacturing plant for Amercord, Inc. - a supplier
of wire tire cord and bead wire to the US tire industry until its
closure. Tom continues to pursue entrepreneurial business opportunities
of which Active RFID is an area of particular interest.
Sheree M. Hagan - Chief Information Officer
Sheree M. Hagan is a Partner/Co-Inventor
at LRNI since 2002. Sheree focuses on the assessment, design,
development, testing and implementation of Active RFID systems in
healthcare and manufacturing facilities.
Prior to her current
position at LRNI, Sheree was employed by Telamon Corporation based out
of Raleigh, NC for twenty years with Jobs Training Partnership Act (JTPA)
funded by U.S. Department of Labor. Sheree has a legal background as
Legal Assistant for the law office of Cheney and Cheney and also held
the title of Insurance Specialist for Meadows Regional Medical Center in
Vidalia, GA.
Thomas Gray Meredith - Consulting Partner
Gray Meredith is an honor graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a degree in Ocean Engineering. Following graduation, Gray became a Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps and in his first assignment worked as a Logistics Officer for 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance
Battalion. Gray then transferred to Marine Corps Systems Command and worked as the project officer for a logistics program used by the Marines for force deployment, planning, and execution. In this position, Gray coordinated the efforts of both government employees and
contractors in order to design, build, and field the program on time and on budget.
Gray left the Marine Corps with the rank of Captain.
Following his time in the Marine Corps, Gray worked as a process engineer for a chemical manufacturing plant. As a process engineer, Gray was responsible for the plant’s process control and IT systems. He consults with LRNI as needed on projects pertaining to Government contracts, logistics and IT systems.
